About Me
I have been teaching for over fourteen years and have enjoyed a successful teaching and senior leadership career in a variety of schools.  I taught in KS2  and KS1 early on in my career but my passion lies in the EYFS and in child-led learning.

I have taken great pleasure in leading large teams of nursery and reception teachers in developing holistic, play based approaches. I also have experience in leading play based Year One teams in bringing a more child-led approach to the National Curriculum, always ensuring that children's well-being is placed at the forefront of all learning.

Before becoming a consultant, my passion for play based learning led me to becoming a specialist leader of education in 2015 before moving on to advisery work within schools.  These roles enabled me to not only develop those I was directly working with in school, but also allowed me to reach out to other schools and professionals in order to share my enthusiasm and drive towards developing play-based provision and opportunities for our youngest learners.

As part of my consultancy role I support teachers and teams within their schools and settings, as well as holding training sessions and speaking at conference events.
