I am able to visit individual settings to observe general practice and give support and advice for future development.
On-going consultancy
I can offer on-going consultancy visits over a period of time to support the development of environments and/or practice.
Training
I can offer bespoke training and twilight sessions to suit the needs of individual settings. Just let me know what areas you would like to develop.
A variety of options to suit you and your needs
I can carry out visits, on-going consultancy and tailored staff training depending on your needs and requirements.
Examples of previous projects include:
- Developing practitioner knowledge on how young children learn, and ensuring that they understand the importance of play, enabling children to lead their own learning.
- Supporting staff to develop interactions with children through sustained shared thinking, knowing how and when to interact and how to ensure that children are challenged.
- Observing, assessing, planning and recording effectively. I have my own strategy for planning to ensure that children are able to lead their own learning whilst at the same time meeting needs and interests. Paperwork should be kept to a minimum!
- Designing and developing calm, purposeful environments to ensure that children are challenged through quality resources and provision. I have experience of designing environments from scratch, as well as suppoting teams to evaluate and develop learning spaces to facilitate children's learning.
